Trail: La Tournette (Bornes Massif)

La Tournette (2,351m), is a very scenic peak of the Bornes Massif. The West side has big cliffs and offers amazing view over Annecy and its lake, while the pastures of the East side are perfect for trail running. Bornes, Aravis and Mont Blanc Massif seen from La Tournette

Trail: Sixt-Fer-a-Cheval (Haut Giffre)

Continuing our exploration of the trails of Haute-Savoie, we went to Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval last weekend. The 28 km loop we chose might not be the best one for running but the scenery was fantastic. Anna with Pointe du Tuet in the background (© P. Gatta)
