Trail: around Aiguilles Rouges

A bit of “green” today along the Trail des Aiguilles Rouges. Anna and I were alone from Brévent to Anterne and Salenton, what a place! Trail around Aiguilles Rouges, Fiz and Anterne in the background (© P. Gatta)

Alpinism: Brévent – La Piste Oubliée (Aiguilles Rouges)

The La Piste Oubliée is a nice short route in Brevent (2,525m) with a nice 6b pitch. It is a good alternative to the crowded Frison-Roche (yellow), La Fin de Babylone (red) or Poème à Lou. Brévent – La Piste Oubliée in green (© P. Gatta)

Brevent: La Fin de Babylone and Frison-Roche

Now that Breventcable car is closed, climbing there means +1,500 meters approach but there is a great reward; being alone in the entire face. Brevent : La Fin de Babylone (red) and Frison-Roche (yellow) (© P. Gatta)

Trail: Le Moulin – Les Gaillands

Yesterday, Anna, Ingela and I went for a nice trail running in the Mont Blanc Massif, my first 20+km run since I came back from the Makalu expedition. Great weather and very nice trail beside the snow in the Brévent. On the way to Flégère (© A. Gatta)
