Today we tried a new trail starting at Villars sur Var (426m). I wanted to make a loop going to Pointe de l’Adret (1305m), the Pointe des 4 Cantons (1804) and go off-trail to the Pointe des Chavanette (1753m). Unfortunately this section in the forest was rough and we got lost several times. We never reached Chavanette, instead we went down to Ste Madeleine and went back to Villars sur Var along the GR 510.
Distance: 23km, ascent: 1650m / descent: 1650.
