Climbing Mont Blanc is always a pleasure. This time, Anna and I made a long traverse from Aiguille du Midi, to the 3 Monts, Dome du Gouter, Aiguille du Gouter followed by a 3,800 meters descent to Les Houches.

Beaufortain is a nice region of Savoie department, South of Mont Blanc massif. With numerous good trails, amazing views over the mountains, large lakes, alpine meadow, it is a great destination for trail running.
It is always a pleasure to climb Mont Blanc, and having the chance to be alone on the top with a perfect weather is quite amazing.
The Northeast face of Les Courtes (3,856m) in a great classic climb around Argenière, Mont Blanc Massif.
This is the high season for ski touring in the Mont Blanc Massif and the Grands Montets are busy with skiers going in every directions. I chose a classic; Grands Montets to Le Tour via the 3 Cols.
La Jonction is a very scenic place where Bossons and Taconnaz glaciers met. The view over Chamonix valley and Mont Blanc is amazing.
The Nid d’Aigle is the start of the Gouter route of Mont Blanc but it is also a great place for Trail running… 24km and +1,250m/-2,000m.
Aiguille du Midi: Rebuffat – Baquet is a beautiful route in Blanc Massif. 200m high, graded TD 6a on a perfect granite.
Alex and I climbed the Frendo Spur (Eperon Frendo) in the North Face of Aiguille du Midi in the Mont Blanc Massif.
We went for a nice trail running in the Mont Blanc Massif, my first 20+km run since I came back from the Makalu expedition.
