Anna and I are still preparing for the Atacama Crossing, a 250 km, 7 days, self-supported running race in the Atacama desert, Chile. Last week I went to the “Centre Cardio-Thoracique of Monaco” for a Treadmill Stress Test (“Test d’effort”) which included Echocardiogram, lung capacities, heart rate min and max, VO2 max, fat vs. carbohydrates consumption, etc. The exercise on the treadmill is relatively short (<30min) and intense, but with the exams before and the debriefing after, I spent 2 hours at the sport center. Anyway, the good news is that everything is fine.
