Pointe de la Terrasse is a small peak South of Barrage d’Emosson (Dam). It is a very popular ski tour in spring when the road to Emosson Dam is open. It is a perfect balcony offering stunning views over the Mont Blanc Massif.

Park just before Emosson Dam at col de la Gueulaz at 1,960m.

Follow the road dam, continue to Col du Passet and go up along the Veudale Gorge.

At 2,450m go South toward the Col de la Terrasse (the trail to Cheval Blanc goes North).

From Col de Terrasse, go straight to the top of Pointe (2,734m).

Ski down the same way, it is about 10km +1,000m/-1,000m round trip from the parking.
