The Aiguille Verte is an iconic mountain of the Mont Blanc Massif and it is always a pleasure to climb it. The Couloir Couturier is a classic and this year it has been in good conditions for a while
No matter how many times I have climbed Aiguille d’Argentière, I keep enjoying it. From Les Grands Montets it’s a short and nice ski touring day, from Argentière it’s a long and good training.
The Argentiere glacier is really a great place for ski touring, especially with 25cm of fresh snow to the bottom of Col des Courtes.
This is the high season for ski touring in the Mont Blanc Massif and the Grands Montets are busy with skiers going in every directions. I chose a classic; Grands Montets to Le Tour via the 3 Cols.
