Aiguille du Midi: Rebuffat – Baquet is a beautiful route in Blanc Massif. 200m high, graded TD 6a on a perfect granite.
Aiguille du Midi: Frendo Spur
Alex and I climbed the Frendo Spur (Eperon Frendo) in the North Face of Aiguille du Midi in the Mont Blanc Massif.
Trail: Le Moulin – Les Gaillands
We went for a nice trail running in the Mont Blanc Massif, my first 20+km run since I came back from the Makalu expedition.
Makalu 8463 m, Nepal

Makalu is the fifth highest of the fourteen 8000m peaks. After several expeditions together, Philippe and Gombu teamed up to climb the French route. They reached the top of Makalu alone with amazing views of Everest and Lhotse in the background.

After a stormy night, Anna and Philippe went to the Triangle du Tacul to climb the super classic Goulotte Chéré in Mont Blanc Massif.
Les Houches – Mont Blanc winter attempt
, Philippe left Les Houches (1,000m) at 4:30am, hoping to climb Mont Blanc non-stop and get back down to Les Houches in the evening.
Wadi Rum Race, Jordan

The Jordan race started in the beautiful Wadi Rum desert, then crossed 3 more desert: Kharaza, Humaima and Wadi Araba to finish in the ancient city of Petra. There are 6 stages in 7 days: almost 4 Marathons in 4 days, then 87 km, a rest day and a final stage of 7 km.

Trail running around Fitz Roy
After our trail running around Torres del Paine we left for El Chalten, our “base camp” until the end of our Patagonia trip. El Chalten is a small town at walking distance from the Cerro Torre and Fitzroy.
